MEDITATION

There are many methods of meditating.  Mindfulness of breath is used in sitting and walking to cultivate a calm mind. Having a calm mind is an important part of the healing process. Meditation teaches us to focus our attention so we are able to do each activity in our day to the best of our abilities, including getting healthy!

QIGONG

Qigong is an aspect of traditional Chinese medicine involving the coordination of different breathing patterns with various physical postures and motions of the body. It is the art of managing one's breathing in order to achieve and maintain good health.  It increases circulation and energy and calms the mind.
